No Credit

No Credit was Hondo's main entry for Beta 4, and anyone who has played AHL in the last year knows this map in and out. Still, for the new or less observant players, here are some tips.

As the battle between HC Federal and Circle-H Gas & Convenience rages on, you will need to use your head to win. Fighting typically takes place in the gas station area. If you or your team gets there first and you're in a defending mood, make your way to the rooftops. The convenience store and little alley on the opposite side provide some cover, but little freedom of movement. If you get caught reloading or bandaging then there's not much you can do. Also, remember to shoot the gas pumps to hurt or kill someone passing by. One or two high-caliber shots will blow them.

For the rest of the map, people tend to ignore the upper areas. Lightposts, ledges, rooftops, billboards, they're all there to be used. Also the oft-neglected abandoned building is a good way to sneak around to get someone camping on the gas station. Especially if you have slippers.

All weapons are go on No Credit, though if you're bringing a shotgun you'll want to take something accurate as backup. On a map like BankDoom you can solo with the HC and do fine, but on this you can easily get caught at a distance with nowhere to go.
